FCCFA FOUNDATION


The FCCFA and FCCFA Foundation provide over $9,000 anually in scholarships to members to assist with professional development, event registration, college tuition, books and other related educational expenses.

For aspiring funeral professionals:
  • Doug Stowell Scholarship: One award annually of $1,000 made possible by a generous donation from Funeral Services, Inc. (FSI) 
  • Mortuary Science Scholarships: Two awards annually of $1,000 each made possible by a generous donation from Dignity Memorial / SCI 
For current funeral professionals:
  • Corrine Olvey and Judy Ralph Scholarships: Two awards annually of $2,500 each.  These scholarships were created to recognize and support individuals who demonstrate the potential to hold positions of senior leadership in the death care industry.  Funds are provided to assist FCCFA members and their employees in attending  the ICCFA-U (the International Cemetery, Cremation and Funeral Association University).
  • Cemeterian Scholarship: One award annually of $300.00.  Funds may be used by FCCFA members and their employees to attend a cemetery-related educational event such as the FCCFA Maintenance Expo. Made possible by a grant from the Jacksonville Area Cemeteries.

For the family of FCCFA members:

  • FCCFA Foundation Academic Scholarship: One award annually of $1,250.  Funds may be used by a spouse, son, daughter or legal dependent of a full-time employee of an FCCFA firm member for higher education tuition.
